This unique professional development package created for students of leadership from all industries includes 5 days/6 nights of leadership development training facilitated by John McCann, Principal of OrgPsych, within the crucial leadership environment of scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, east of Cairns.
The program provides for attendees to also become certified PADI Open Water Divers, enjoying up to 8 dives including 1 night dive during this special learning experience with John. If you are already a Certified Diver you can look forward to extending your leadership skills, whilst more freely exploring the world’s greatest natural living wonder.
Groups are strictly limited to 10 participants, so we encourage your early expression of interest. The program is equally suited for individuals as it is for organisational teams.

Meet John McCann
John is devoted to ‘helping people increase their well-being today so they flourish tomorrow’. A sought after corporate trainer, speaker and author; John brings many years of business ownership, general management and sales experience to his coaching, training and leadership development work. John has served on executive management committees involved in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and international joint ventures. His management experience encompasses leading information technology and sales teams. He has worked extensively throughout North America. John has lectured in personal performance, marketing and sales and has worked with Fortune 500 companies and Australia’s major corporations. With over 10,500 hours of individual coaching sessions, he has had the opportunity to challenge people in business to balance the head, wallet and heart.

Day 2 (Sunday) Checkout Shangrila Hotel at 7am M.V. Reefkist transfer to Fitzroy Island Resort.

Morning classroom training with John McCann.

Day 3 (Monday) Continental breakfast.
PADI Open Water Dive (OWD) classroom and pool training for day; or Certified diving around Fitzroy Island for the day.

Day 4 (Tuesday) Continental breakfast.
PADI OWD training – 1st sea/island dive.

PADI OWD training – 2nd sea/island dive; or
Certified diving around Fitzroy Island for the day.

Day 5 (Wednesday) Continental breakfast.
8am transfer M.V. Reefkist to M.V. Kangaroo Explorer.
PADI OWD training – 2 reef dives and optional night dive; or
Certified diving with Guide.
Lunch. Dinner. Cabin (twin-share).
Day 6 (Thursday) Continental Breakfast. Lunch.
PADI OWD training – 3 reef dives; or Certified diving with Guide.
Transfer by M.V. Reefkist via Fitzroy Island to Shangrila Hotel, Cairns.
Drinks and presentation of PADI OWD licenses, followed by 3 Course dinner
hosted by John McCann at Shangrila restaurant.
Day 7 (Friday) Buffet breakfast and checkout.
